With Kidman and especially Meg Ryan, their enhanced faces are a distraction, though the worst was Barbara Hershey, whose lip injections some years back made it hard to look at her. I don't like this trend, and I really don't understand why these women should be messing with their faces at an age when women look pretty good naturally. However, I have to wonder if maybe I'm seeing plastic surgery and Botox all the time without knowing it, and liking it, thinking I'm seeing the real thing. It may be the new normal. As for Redford, I didn't even know that he got plastic surgery. Maybe he only thinks he did. Maybe they treated him the way they treat your car at some of those crooked oil-change places - you know, claimed they did something and sent him on his way.
