Each year, the clinic welcomes 12 to 15 visiting U.S. medical teams that offer a range of specialties including general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology and orthopedics. The Del Prados say the clinic is always looking for doctors, especially general internists and pediatricians. Interns and medical students are also welcome. General surgeons are always in demand because of the large number of hernia, gall bladder and back cases.
