Lipodissolve, also known as lipo dissolve or advanced lipo dissolve, is similar to liposuction in that it is designed to minimize and/or eliminate unwanted fat deposits in specific areas of the body. However, unlike liposuction, it is intended for only small volumes of localized fat. Additionally, lipodissolve is a non-surgical procedure that relies on injectable drugs to rid the body of undesired fat. The procedure is usually done in a doctor's office, as it requires no anesthesia to be performed. The doctor administers numerous injections of lipodissolve in the area where excess fat is located. The drug then works with the chemicals and hormones of the patient's body to reduce and/or eliminate the fat from around the injection sites. Once the injections have been administered, experts claim that results should appear in 3-6 weeks, though results may vary. In addition, lipodissolve typically requires no post-operative care, as patients usually resume normal activities right away. |
