The NYT reports about a new trend in plastic surgery:
Over the years, the three women have supported each other through breast implants, face-lifts and brow-lifts. Last February, Ms. Probandt said, she had a mini face-lift and a brow-lift. A few weeks later Mrs. Allison had her implants redone and the third woman had her face done. “We just had a delightful time,” Mrs. Probandt recalled. “After we got to looking a little bit better — we’d cover up our heads, glasses, scarves — we spent hours in Neiman’s, even when we had our drains in.” Then they all went to Mrs. Allison’s ranch two hours from San Antonio to recuperate together for a week.
