From ABC:

From a very early age, Sam Saboura knew he wanted to be in the fashion world. With a mother who was involved in high fashion, Sam was always surrounded by beautiful clothes and fashion designers. At age 12 he began instructing family and friends on what to wear, how to do their hair and makeup for special events and what to get rid of in their closets. Sam was born in Chicago, Illinois, and attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, where he double-majored in Theatre Arts and Communications. He acted in back-to-back college plays and went to New York City several times to workshop various off-Broadway productions with Tony Kushner, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright of "Angels in America." He developed his keen fashion sense for styling by working as a personal shopper at Fred Segal in Los Angeles. During his seven years of experience there, Sam had the pleasure of working with almost every celebrity that passed through its doors. Some of the celebrities he has worked with are Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, Lara Flynn Boyle and Sarah Jessica Parker, as well as working on the television shows MTV's "Movie House" and the Osbournes. Sam has just completed work as the wardrobe designer for a primetime reality series in development and is currently the stylist on the very popular "Extreme Makeover" for ABC. Being able to educate people on how to create a new image and sense of style has been a lifelong dream of his. "Everyone has the potential inside them to look and feel incredible; they just need some help bringing it out and nurturing it," Sam says.
